What to buy

    Rules used: the pole extends past the frame on each side so open curtains clear the glass; standard fullness is twice the pole width; sill-length curtains end about 1 cm above the sill, below-sill about 15 cm below it and floor-length about 1 cm above the floor. Ready-made sizes vary by shop, so check the size label before you buy. Results are planning estimates.
